V LIVE Review: MBC New Monthly Mini Series 'Item' VDRAMA Talk

Bagaimana? Kalian sudah pada mulai mengikuti drama Korea Item kah? Atau masih bingung mikir? MrsBuckwheat rencananya mau nonton Item episode 1 nanti malam. Sebelumnya, MrsBuckwheat akan sharing sedikit review acara V LIVE Drama Talk, yang tentu saja membahas tentang Item.
Item, drama terbaru MBC, tayang sejak 11 Februari lalu jam 10 malam setiap Senin dan Selasa. Jumlah episodenya sebanyak 32 episode, yang disiarkan 2 episode per harinya. Gue terbiasa langsung membagi dua jumlah episode, supaya nggak terasa panjang banget. Karena, sebenarnya jumlah menitnya sama saja. Jadi, drama ini hanya 16 episode hehehe....
How? Have you started watching Item? Or, are you still confused? Mrs. Buckwheat plans to watch Item's 1st episode tonight. Before that, Mrs. Buckwheat will share a little review of the V LIVE Drama Talk program, which of course discussed about Item.
Item, the latest MBC drama, aired since February 11 at 10 pm every Monday and Tuesday. The number of episodes is 32 episodes, which are broadcast 2 episodes per day. I immediately divided it by two, so it won't seem too long. Because, actually the number of minutes is the same. So for me, this drama is only 16 episodes ha-ha ....
Acara dibuka dengan sambutan oleh MC. Tampak para pemeran utama Item bertepuk tangan, Kim Kang Woo, Jin Se-yeon, Kim Kang-woo, dan Kim Yoo-ri. Keempatnya duduk di bangku abu-abu dengan latar belakang hitam dan poster-poster Item.
MC memperkenalkan mereka kepada pemirsa dan mempersilahkan memberikan salam secara langsung, dimulai dengan Ju Ji-hoon. Masing-masing menyapa para pemirsa, menyebutkan nama dan peran mereka di drama MBC, Item. Sapaan Jin Se-yeon yang penuh friendly aegyo, membuat surprise sang MC. Dengan bercanda, sang host berkomentar betapa mahalnya sweater Kim Kang Woo. Ia juga memuji penampilan Kim Yoo-ri yang menurutnya seperti boneka. MrsBuckwheat setuju sekali, apalagi di Sweetheart in My Ear, Kim Yoo-ri benar-benar terlihat cantik berambut panjang dengan dress dan riasan sederhana.
The program was opened with greeting by the MC. The main actors of Item were seen clapping, Kim Kang Woo, Jin Se-yeon, Kim Kang-woo, and Kim Yoo-ri. The four of them sat on gray benches with black curtains and Item posters as backgrounds.
The MC introduced them to viewers and let them to greet the viewers directly, starting with Ju Ji-hoon. One by one, the actors greeted the viewers, mentioned their names and roles in the MBC latest drama, Item. Jin Se-yeon's greetings were full of friendly aegyo, surprised the MC. Jokingly, the MC commented on how expensive Kim Kang Woo's sweater was. She also praised Kim Yoo-ri's appearance, which she thought was like a doll. Mrs. Buckwheat agrees, especially in Sweetheart in My Ear, Kim Yoo-ri really looked beautiful in long hair, wearing a simple dress and makeup.
Saat ditanya mengenai perasaan mereka hari itu, semuanya merasa bersemangat dan menantikannya. Hanya Ju Ji-hoon yang menjawab dengan "xxxxxx, Oki-doki-yo". Lucu melihat ekspresinya yang serius tetapi malah menjawab sesimpel itu. Kenapa ada di xxxxxx di situ? MrsBuckwheat sampai sekarang nggak nemu apa artinya kata-kata di awal kalimat Ju Ji-hoon. Maaf...
MC membacakan beberapa komentar dari pemirsa yang telah banyak berkumpul di window chat. Salah satunya mempertanyakan maksud dari xxxxxx. Oke, jadi bukan cuma MrsBuckwheat yang bingung ya?
When asked about their feelings that day, everyone felt excited and looked forward to it. Only Ju Ji-hoon answers with "xxxxxx, Oki-doki-yo". MC reads a number of comments from viewers who have gathered in the chat window. One of them questions the meaning of xxxxxx. Okay, so it's not just Mrs. Buckwheat who was confused, right?
Masuk ke sesi permainan (yay! ini favorit MrsBuckwheat), MC berkata bahwa ia sangat siap hari itu. Para bintang tamu diminta menggambar tentang karakter masing-masing di Item. Ia sudah menyiapkan spidol, penghapus, beserta papan tulis putih. Waktu yang diberikan untuk menggambar hanya 1 menit 40 detik.
Starting the game session (yay! This is Mrs.Buckwheat's favorite), the MC said that she was very ready that day. Guest stars were asked to draw about their character in the drama. She had prepared markers, erasers, along with a white board. The time given to draw is only 1 minute 40 seconds.
Ju Ji-hoon paling pertama selesai, sebelum 100 detik. Ternyata Kim Yoo-ri juga sudah menyelesaikan gambarnya. Ju Ji-hoon diminta memperlihatkan hasil karyanya lebih dulu. Tampak sebuah pohon dan ekspresi orang tersenyum. MC bertanya apakah itu pohon palem? Tebakannya salah. Rupanya itu pohon bambu. Setelah mendengarkan alasan Ju Ji-hoon, MC mengatakan gambar itu sederhana tapi jelas.
Giliran berikutnya, Kim Se-yeon menggambar karakter Shin So-young ala komik dengan ciri khas tatapan matanya dan hati di dadanya. Tidak lupa rambut ekor kuda dan poni depan.
Ju Ji-hoon was the first to finish the task, before 100 seconds. It turned out that Kim Yoo-ri had also finished her drawing. Ju Ji-hoon was asked to show his work first. It were a tree and a smile. The MC asked if it was a palm tree? Her guess was wrong. Apparently it was a bamboo tree. After listening to Ju Ji-hoon's reasons, the MC said the picture was simple but clear.
The next turn, Kim Se-yeon drew Shin So-young's character in comical style with her special gaze and a heart on her chest. Not to forget the ponytail and front bangs.
Ketika tiba waktunya Kim Yoo-ri menunjukkan gambarnya, MC menggodanya. Ia memperkirakan gambar milik Kim Yoo-ri pasti berbeda. Sekedar info, Kim Yoo-ri mengambil jurusan Komunikasi Visual. Dengan malu, ia membalik papan tulisnya. Sebuah garis horisontal yang menyambung ke tulisan tegak bersambung nama Yoona, karakter Kim Yoo-ri di Item. Ju Ji-hoon menyeletuk kalau itu mirip detak jantung. Kim Yoo-ri terkejut dan membenarkan. Dan, itu juga sebuah kaligrafi.
The third image, belonged to Kim Kang-woo. MC was curious because he was the last to finish compared to his three co-stars. Kim Kang-woo asked, "Do you know what is this?" When the MC replied that it was a demon, he agreed. "I (Jo Se-hwang) is angry but I'm always smiling," explained Kim Kang-woo. "And, I don't have a heart," he continued.
When the time came for Kim Yoo-ri to show the picture, the MC teased her. She estimates that Kim Yoo-ri's image must be different. Just for your information, Kim Yoo-ri majored in Visual Communication. Embarrassed, Kim Yoo-ri flipped the whiteboard, showing her drawing. A horizontal line that connected to the cursive writing of Yoona's name, Kim Yoo-ri's character in Item. Ju Ji-hoon commented that it was like a heartbeat. Kim Yoo-ri was surprised. She confirmed it and said that it's a calligraphy.
Lanjut ke pertanyaan kedua, kali ini Ju Ji-hoon, Kim Kang-woo, Jin Se-yeon, dan Kim Yoo-ri harus memilih salah satu karakter Item dan menggambar tentang mereka. Ju Ji-hoon, Jin Se-yeon, dan Kim Kang-woo mulai mengerjakan jawaban mereka tapi sepertinya Kim Yoo-ri nggak melakukan banyak gerakan. Tiba-tiba ia telah selesai saat Ju Ji-hoon selesai.
Ju Ji-hoon membalikkan papan tulisnya. Kekeke..di papan tulisnya ada gambar kotoran yang dihinggapi lalat, juga celana yang terkena kotoran tadi. Ternyata Ju Ji-hoon memilih karakter Jo Se-hwang. Sedangkan, Jin Se-yeon memilih Kang-gon. Dalam gambarnya tampak Kang-gon, yang berambut jarang-jarang, tersenyum dengan kerlap-kerlip di sekitarnya.
Continue to the second question, this time Ju Ji-hoon, Kim Kang-woo, Jin Se-yeon, and Kim Yoo-ri should chose one of the Item characters and drew about them. Ju Ji-hoon, Jin Se-yeon, and Kim Kang-woo started working on their answers but it seemed like Kim Yoo-ri didn't do much movement. Suddenly, she was finished when Ju Ji-hoon finished.
Ju Ji-hoon flipped his whiteboard. Ha-ha... there was a picture of dirt with a fly on it, as well as pants that were exposed to the dirt. It turned out that Ju Ji-hoon chose Jo Se-hwang's character. Meanwhile, Jin Se-yeon chose Kang-gon. In her drawing, Kang-gon, who had thin hair, was smiling. There were sparkles around him.
Berbeda dari Ju Ji-hoon dan Jin Se-yeon, Kim Kang-woo memilih semua karakter dan menggabungkannya dalam satu gambar. Jo Se-hwang berdiri di sisi kiri, sementara kedua karakter utama wanita dan Kang-gon berada di sisi kanan. Mereka dipisahkan oleh sebuah sungai yang nggak bisa diseberangi. Merasa ada yang aneh? Ya, benar sekali! Yang paling kecil berambut jigrak itu Kang-gon haha.... Ju Ji-hoon sempat protes sampai akhirnya Kim Yoo-ri berkata dirinya akan jadi yang paling kecil itu.
Lalu, gambar milik Kim Yoo-ri... Hanya papan tulis polos. Sang MC bertanya apakah hanya orang baik yang bisa melihat gambar itu. Kata Kim Yoo-ri, itu adalah hati Kang-gon. Mendengar jawaban Kim Yoo-ri, sontak Kim Kang-woo protes. Bercanda, ia bilang mestinya hati Kang-gon juga ada kotorannya. Hm....pantas saja cepat selesai ya......polos begitu :D.
Unlike Ju Ji-hoon and Jin Se-yeon, Kim Kang-woo chose all characters and combined them in one sketch. Jo Se-hwang stood on the left side, while the two main female characters and Kang-gon were on the right side. They were separated by a river that couldn't be crossed. Looked like there was something strange. Yes, that was true! Kang-gon was the smallest one ha-ha.... When Ju Ji-hoon protested, Kim Yoo-ri said that she would be the smallest one.
Then, the next drawing belonged to Kim Yoo-ri... It was just a plain whiteboard. The MC asked if only good people could see the picture. Kim Yoo-ri said, that was Kang-gon's heart. Hearing Kim Yoo-ri's answer, Kim Kang-woo immediately protested. Jokingly, he said Kang-gon's heart had to also have dirt. Hm... that was why she finished it really fast.
MC kembali membacakan cukup banyak komentar pemirsa dari window chat. Mereka berbincang sedikit sebelum menuju ke sesi yang selanjutnya.
Drama Item bergenre misteri fantasi yang berkisah seputar benda-benda berkekuatan supranatural milik Jo Se-hwang. Masing-masing bintang tamu disuruh memilih satu kekuatan supranatural yang ingin mereka miliki. Pilihannya, yaitu: teleportasi, manusia karet, manusia transparan, mengendalikan waktu, mengubah wajah, tidak mau punya kekuatan supranatural, melayang, membaca pikiran, kekuatan, dan mampu berbicara dengan hewan.
Sesi ini kocak banget. Banyak godaan dan gurauan yang dilontarkan oleh sang MC dan Ju Ji-hoon. Contohnya, sewaktu mereka memperbincangkan tentang pilihannya, yaitu mampu bebicara dengan hewan. Ju Ji-hoon sempat bercanda, "Setelah berteman dengan para laba-laba, ayo minta mereka mencari uang." Namun, sebenarnya ia memilih kekuatan supranatural itu karena merasa dirinya akan lebih nyaman.
MC continued to read a lot of viewer comments from the chat window. They talked a little before heading to the next session.
Item is a mystery fantasy drama that revolves around Jo Se-hwang's supernatural items. Each guest star was told to choose one psychic ability they want to have. The choices were: teleportation, rubber human, invisible man, time control, face off, absolutely not (wanting supernatural powers), levitation, mind reading, power, and animal communication.
This session was really funny. Lots of teases and jokes made by the MC and Ju Ji-hoon. For example, when their talked about Ju Ji-hoon choice, animal communication. He joked, "After making friends with the spiders, let's ask them to collect money." However, actually he chose it because he felt he would be more comfortable.
Jin Se-yeon lebih menginginkan kekuatan yang mampu ia gunakan jika terjebak kemacetan. Tahu nggak apa itu? Jawabannya membuat ia digoda habis-habisan oleh Ju Ji-hoon. Sementara itu, Kim Kang-woo memilih dapat membaca pikiran orang lain.
Kim Yoo-ri berharap bisa mengendalikan waktu. Bukan hanya agar dapat muda lagi tapi ia ingin kembali ke masa lalu karena ada sedikit penyesalan dan ia juga penasaran akan masa depan. Jadi, Kim Yoo-ri akan bolak-balik ke masa lalu dan masa depan.
Jin Se-yeon wanted more power that she could use if she were stuck in a traffic jam. Do you know what is it? Her answer made her teased a lot by Ju Ji-hoon. Meanwhile, Kim Kang-woo chose to be able to read other people's minds.
Kim Yoo-ri hoped to be able to control time. Not only she would be able to be young again but she wanted to go back to the past because there is a little regret there. She was also curious about the future. So, Kim Yoo-ri would go back and forth to the past and future.
Jumlah pemirsa saat itu sudah mencapai angka 5677 orang. Omong-omong, MrsBuckwheat loncat langsung ke permainan selanjutnya ya? Gue sangat suka bagian games karena interaksinya lebih akrab dan seringnya lucu. Nggak jauh kok, hanya bagian MC memberikan informasi ke pemirsa :)
Permainan selanjutnya adalah...permainan jari! Seberapa kuatkah jari para aktor Item itu? MC (tentu saja) telah mempersiapkan mesin punching game mini. Urutan pemain ditentukan dengan suit atau suten alias batu-gunting-kertas.
The current number of viewers had reached 5677 people. By the way, Mrs. Buckwheat will go straight to the next game, OK? I really like the game part because the interaction was more casual and often funny. It won't be much, only the section where the MC gave information to viewers :)
The next game was... finger games! How strong were the actors' fingers? MC (of course) has prepared a mini punching game machine. The order of players was determined by rock-scissors-paper game.

Pemenangnya adalah... Ju Ji-hoon...! Loh kok Ju Ji-hoon, bukannya Kim Kang-woo. Dua aktor ini kayaknya sama-sama cuek dan nyeleneh. Sama-sama mencari posisi meninju (baca: menyentil) yang pas supaya skornya tinggi. Bedanya, Ju Ji-hoon langsung berhasil memperoleh nilai. Setelah membuat error mesin punching game mini, sentilan Kim Kang-woo pun sempat meleset. Akhirnya ia berhasil di percobaan yang kesekian kali.

The winner was... Ju Ji-hoon ...! How come? Wasn't Kim Kang-woo the winner? These two actors seemed to be equally indifferent and eccentric. Both of them were looking for a position to punch (read: to flick) so that the score would be high. The difference was, Ju Ji-hoon immediately got the score. While, after making the mini punching game machine error, Kim Kang-woo's flick had also missed. Finally, he succeeded in the umpteenth time trial.
Para aktor Item juga diminta membawa barang (item) yang penting bagi mereka di kala syuting. Mereka akan menunjukkannya hari itu khusus untuk para pemirsa.
Ju Ji-hoon dan Kim Yoo-ri sama-sama membawa gel penghangat. Roll rambut dipilih Jin Se-yeon sebagai barang wajibnya. Jo Se-hwang alias Kim Kang-woo memilih botol termos berisi air hangat.
Item actors were also asked to bring items that were important to them when filming. They would show it that day especially for viewers.
Ju Ji-hoon and Kim Yoo-ri both carried a hot pack. A hair roller was chosen as a mandatory item by Jin Se-yeon. Jo Se-hwang aka Kim Kang-woo chose a vacuum bottle that filled with warm water.
Lanjut ke pertanyaan berikutnya, yaitu menggambarkan drama Item dalam 3 suku kata (Hangul). Ju Ji-hoon, Kim Kang-woo, Jin Se-yeon, dan Kim Yoo-ri masing-masing menjawab dengan kata: menyenangkan (재밌다), gunung berapi aktif (활화산), sangat menarik, dan yang terbaik (베스트).
Continue to the next question, which was describing drama Item in 3 syllables (Hangul). Ju Ji-hoon, Kim Kang-woo, Jin Se-yeon, and Kim Yoo-ri each answer with the words: fun (재밌다), active volcano (활화산), very interesting, and the best (베스트).
Ketika membahas rekaman adegan menghentikan kereta di atas rel, MC penasaran apakah mereka menggunakan kereta asli dan bekerja sama dengan KORAIL seperti kabar yang ia dengar. Ju Ji-hoon mengucapkan terima kasih, adegan yang bagus itu tidak dapat dibuat tanpa bantuan KORAIL. Ia juga menjelaskan, sebenarnya tidak ada kereta di hadapannya saat ia berakting menghentikan kereta seperti di dalam rekaman. Adegan itu diolah menggunakan CGV.
When discussing the footage of stopping the train on the tracks, MC was curious whether they were using the original train and cooperating with KORAIL as she heard. Ju Ji-hoon said thank you, they won't be able to make such a wonderful scene without KORAIL's help. Memasuki sesi foto adegan, bergantian foto dari para pemain ditampilkan. Pertama, foto Kim Kang-woo dengan seekor anjing yang menurut MC menggambarkan animal communication. Lalu, ada juga foto Ju Ji-hoon yang tengah memandang sesuatu dengan serius. MC memuji mimik wajahnya di foto itu. Namun, ternyata Ju Ji-hoon tidak dengan sengaja terlihat demikian. Menurutnya, ia memiliki mata yang kecil dan tanpa kelopak mata ganda. Ia tidak bermaksud melakukannya (terlihat seperti itu), ia hanya sedang menghayati perasaan seseorang yang mampu melihat secara intuitif. Total ada sebanyak 8 foto yang ditampilkan dan dibahas setelahnya, 2 foto untuk tiap aktor. Celetukan-celetukan kocak terdengar sepanjang obrolan.
Di akhir acara, Ju Ji-hoon sebagai pemenang punching game, dipersilahkan menutup VDRAMA Talk drama Item.
On the next session, some photos of characters were displayed. First, a photo of Kim Kang-woo with a dog which, according to MC, describes animal communication. Then, there was also a photo of Ju Ji-hoon who was looking at something seriously. The MC praised the look on his face in the photo. However, Ju Ji-hoon didn't intentionally look like that. According to him, he had small eyes and no double eyelids. He didn't deliberately doing it (looking like that), he just felt the feeling of someone who was able to see intuitively. In total, there were 8 photos displayed and discussed on that session, 2 photos for each actor. Hilarious comments were heard throughout the chat.
At the end, Ju Ji-hoon as a mini punching game winner, had to close VDRAMA drama Talk for Items that day.
